Licensed social workers are available to administer pregnancy tests
in a respectful and confidential environment. Clients can receive
relevant information about their options, in addition to information
about insurance, medical care, sexually
transmitted disease testing, and other referrals.
Options
Education
Accurate information about parenting, adoption and abortion can be
discussed with PregnancyCare's supportive staff. Clients are
encouraged and empowered to make informed decisions.
Medical
Referrals
Clients may be referred to convenient, affiliated prenatal clinics
for full-service medical care throughout their pregnancy and
delivery.
Ongoing
Support
Caring listeners are available to help clients explore a variety of
topics, including: relationships, budgeting, parenting, education, career issues, and adoption.
Childbirth
Classes
Experienced instructors prepare expectant mothers and their labor
coaches for pregnancy and childbirth. Several sessions are held
each year, and classes are open to anyone.
STEPS
Parenting Classes
Steps Toward Effective Parenting Skills (STEPS) is a support and
education program for expectant parents. The twelve-week program is
held several times each year, and it offers parents-to-be an
opportunity to learn together with others in a supportive
environment. Class topics include relationships, pregnancy, child
development, and discipline.
